Default D&D Fatcat install help

Putting on the D&D Fatcat and broke one muffler clamp when I attempted to torque to 150 in lbs as specified in the directions. Have a new clamp on now, and have torqued to about 120, but am leery of going to the 150. Did you have any problems when you torqued yours to 150?

To clarify, the bolt on the clamp broke.

Yeah, the one on mine broke when I torqued it down too. No biggie IMO, I just got a new one at Lowes & finished the job.

I did the exact same thing from Home Depot and D&D sent out a replacement clamp that I keep as a spare.

Torqued my second clamp to 150 and no problem. Will probably pick one up from home depot just to keep on hand.

Just installed mine on friday and the same thing happened. Didn't get to 150 and the bolt snapped ! Pulled the muffler off , vise gripped the broken half of the bolt out, went to the hardware store and got a new bolt, reinstalled and re-torqued. No more trouble. Must just be weak bolts.
Sure like the way it looks and sounds.
