30K fuel filter service?

I'm getting ready to do my 30-K service. Has anyone changed their fuel filter in the tank of an 03 Road King? Is this job any big deal?

You should be OK.Main thing is purge fuel pump pressure.Unsnap connector behind tank[under seat],its Y/GN & BL..run bike till it stalls and for good measure hit starter button 1-2 more times.Should be able to reuse console gasket,but will need to buy a few PN# 10038A hose clamps,Bob

Why not just pull the fuse to the pump instead?
