Harley comes with all kinds of baggage. Some is real good, some not so good. Thats why we ride them. I've had all kinds and I have found I have more fun on a Harley. I like to work on them also, part of the appeal.
What is a high performance engine? Definitely not a stock 96". Look at my signature, I guess it could qualify. Problem with high performance engines is that there is always one a little bit faster somewhere. How fast you want to go is only limited by how fat your wallet is.
Yes yours is High Performance, why not? Doesn't have to be designed last year with overhead cams and 4-5 valves and be able to turn 10,000 RPM.
Corvette enginesare High Performance. Look at Nascar. An old Knucklehead build nice is High Performance.
I think tweeking a good output from a Harley is more interesting that some Metric that all it takes is a down payment. Thats too easy to do.
Mine is barely High Performance. Just some top end parts. Right about the wallet. Tuning is the thing.
