Default Completed the roller cam chain conversion

I completed the cam chain conversion on my 2001 SE RG today. In the process I did alot of other work on the bike, i.e. new front Lyndall gold+ brake pads, new primary chaintensioner, new clutch ramps, changed all the oil to Amsoil synthetic, new exhaust harware, replaced all the engine zinc on chrome hardware to chrome hardware, etc.
Note: Replacing the rocker cover bolts was fun. The left rearbolt would not clear the frame soI had to cut it off to get it out. The new bolt would not go in either so I had to cut about 1/8" off it. I also had to make a special allen wrench to tighten the three rear bolts that are under the frame.
Anyway, the bike started fine and the only adjustment I have to make was to turn the idle down a bit. I rode it about 90 miles today with no problems. The Andrews 37N cams are compairable to the SE 203's that they replaced and maybe a little stronger. This bike is a blast to ride.

buick455gs, your signature got my attention right away. I used to have a '70 GS Stage 1. I can
still kick myself for selling it. I special ordered it and had every intention of keeping it. However,
I moved from my parents house and bought another vehicle and then had to move again because
of a job transfer. The car was sitting out in the driveway and not being driven so figured I might
as well sell it. Wrong move on my part but that's just some of the mistakes we make in life. If that was one of my worst mistakes I guess I have nothing to complain about. Anyway, I just got
my '08 Ultra and am happy as ever.

I see you put cams in your ride, I was considering the andrews 26H for mine and am doing a little
more research before I act. Sounds like you are happy with the 37 grind, I think for me and the type of riding I do the 26 would be better, comes on from 1800-5200.

Anyway, do you still have the Buick?

I still have my 1970 Buick GS. It is a custom (Not stock) and I need to get back to that project which is getting it ready to show again.I used to show it allot but then I moved an built a house and so on. In the mean time mice got in the car and ruined the interior. I have replaced all the interior and now I need to re-detail the engine and undercarriage.Note: There is a stock 455 GSX (yellow with black stripes) in town that the owner purchased new. It has been featured in a number of magazines.

To me the 37N cams are good cams if you also have the 95 inch engine in stock compression. I not sure how they work on the 96. There is no lag at all and power is through out the RPM range. There maybe better cams out there but this is a nice cam.
