Default 2005 Heritage Softail question

Need some help.... I have a 2005 Heritage Softail that starts fine when it's cold and runs great. But once you shut it off after riding, no matter if its 20 minutes or 2 hours, it won't start back. Or should I say it will once it sits for a while. Almost like it's flooded. Only mods I have are Vance and Hines long shots and rejetted factory carb. These were installed by HD. Other than that it's all stock. I was thinking carb issues first but before I spend money for an S&S or anything else I was hoping for some more ideas of the problem. I'm no certified bike mechanic but I know my way around them. I have actually taken it back to my local HD shop with no success. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks, Don

you might have to get the carb re-built and the carb you have is a good carb put a thunder slide kit in it and it will be good to go. also cherck all the electrical connections ,might be a master fuse or started selonide caused by the heat.
im guessing here
where ya from???
