Shhh.... Don't tell that to all the trikes I know of who are running the TW555 as a simple bolt in. When we put my dads trike on the same dyno as the previous year when he had SE255's in we were surprised to see the TW555 pulling just as early and making more torque as the 255's. I had a set in the 2010 trike I owned and I pulled a trailer and never lacked low end grunt. IMO exhaust makes a big difference when it comes to how early or late the torque comes in. Most of the trikes I know of are either running factory head pipes with small baffle slip ons or a Fuelmoto Jackpot head pipe with slip ons.

I had two exhaust to play with v&h big shots and the bassani 2 into 1 and there was that lag at 2000--2800 that was not there with the stock cams. the stock cams had a smooth power all the way through the power band. after talking with several builders they suggested to bring compression up to where that came would run better. did the head work and the lag was gone and a lot more power.

besides the cam bearing removal/install tool and basic tools and assembly lube.

I have torque wrenches and the gaskets as well.
Do I need anything specific?
