I had to special order the thread chaser for the head bolts into the cylinders. I do not have the size in front of me, it was standard size but not a common size.
I was excited about the WLD because it was a 1941 and high performance. After a bunch of research, I asked the seller to send me picture of the cylinder casting numbers and the stampings on the heads and they were both standard not WLD, so I passed.
there’s another complete motor with compression that I can get for $1,800 but it’s a G.
I think I’m going to wait and go to some antique motorcycle swap meets and see what I can find.
Im disappointed but not defeated!! There will be a 45 in my future soon!
