Adblock Plus....free, takes just a couple of seconds to install in your browser, and works so well. Of course browsing it sped up (at all websites)...due to the ads being suppressed and not taking up your bandwidth.
But..if you don't wish to come back...just..don't come back. Your user account doesn't take up space on the server really, but it does take time for someone to go delete. really no need to "delete" it.
Stonecat hit the nail squarely. Download Adblock Plus (it's an 'add-on') and the ads will be gone forever.
Then you will stop your whining (hopefully).
I also have ad blocking on my router at home - works with phones, tablets, etc. Guests sometimes comment on how fast their web pages load and how much better they look.
I also have bullshit tracking stuff like facebook, google's ad services, etc. blocked at the router.
Some sites (like free news sites) refuse to load unless you disable ad blocking. I go somewhere else instead.
Adds are based on membership, so I don't want the membership active if I don't like the site because that helps them sell more ads.
