Default Progressive 2" drop

Anyone here use the progressive front fork lowering kit and drop their bike the full 2 inches? If so how much did you lower the back and how significant was the change in ride quality?

Default RE: Progressive 2" drop

I lowered a 06 Street Glide two weekends ago so this is fresh in my mind. The rear of this bike has air ride so that won't help you any. The front 2" kit only netted1 5/8" (which we're fine with) on this bike. Since it is an 06 they have a blow off valve in the fairing bikes that year (No other year that I've seen). Progressive suggested removing the blow off valve and the spring ended up making up the thickness of the blow off valve hence the 1 5/8". As for ride quality the owner likes it better now as the front end was previously sloppy. Ride qualitydid not appear tochangeaswe only changed the ride height. The spring rate is the same regardless of height. The lowering kit is limiting the rebound height not the collapsed length (from my understanding of Progressive's explanation).
