This past week, my wife and I were riding 2 up on my 2013 Ultra Classic and as I took off I got my left boot caught under her passenger floorboard and laid it down on the left side. Luckily, it didn't put a scratch on the bike, but I'm now wearing a cast on my left foot.
Sorry to hear that. I might catch sh it for this but I don't wear boots for this reason. I find that adjusting to the difference in bulk/size is diifcult for a guy who wears tennis shoes all the time.
This begs the question what were you doing to get the foot caught in the first place ? Bikes moving feet should on the boards not dragging " just in case " .....
might want to pick your feet up a little quicker next time

+1 on all of the above.
The only way this happens is when the bike rolls forward with your feet still on the ground.
I hate that it happened to you, so please don't take it the wrong way.
PS: I could not believe the number of riders I saw at Sturgis rolling along at <20 mph in traffic with their feet sliding along on the ground.
Broken ankle just waiting to happen.
