time for a new battery

I guess its time to buy a new battery, bike will not start. so many to pick from. my be i'll wait till spring.

I have AGM batteries in my car and the Jeeps and now in the bike, too. IMO they are worth the extra cost.

I had to replace mine after 22 months. It started dragging when I tried to start it. After it was hot, it was like a new one but cold, not so much. And when I had it checked out, it showed perfect. I was worried I'd be out somewhere and have it not start at all, so I got a new one.

I replaced mine with a Deka AGM...it lasted approximately a month. Got the replacement and so far, so good. 2 year warranty.

Didn't you know that when the battery dies you have to trade in the bike on a new one? (I think the wife will buy that, right?)

Sometimes they just get to much vibration and shake themselves apart but...
Mines stock and going on 4 years old. I alternate charge it for a week at a time with my other bike in the winter. I ride as much as I can in the winter too.

I also had the stock battery for over ten years on a Gold Wing. Still going strong when I sold it.

You can't rely on the shop for maintenance you know.

Bought mine from Batterymart as well for a great price. It was out of stock though, so it took awhile before I got it.

My first bike had an AGM battery, lasted 8 years. I'm sold on them.
