Gotta say i really miss riding a Softail.. Love being low to the ground and how they handle over all. One of my favorites was my 09 Nightrain. I really like the new Breakout but i just think $19k For a non CVO Softail is steep.. Id like to get one thats $16k or less. I always buy new but might consider really low mileage used. Need it to be 2 up capable as well. Keeping my eye out for a decent priced low mileage Breakout but the used ones at the dealers have around 5k miles and arent much cheaper then new.. Even thought of finding a lightly used 08-09 Night train but i dont know if i want to go that old and with the smaller motor? Even thought of buying a new Dyna WideGlide i know its not a Softail but its a much lighter bike that fits my riding style and i can lower it with lower shocks.. My RoadKing just dosent fit my riding style i dont travel long distance and its just overkill and too big for what i want!! I even thought of the Slim because i loved the foot boards on my Fatboy Lo and RoadKing and i like the side profile style of the slim but i just thin the rear is too skinny for looks and what i want in a 2 up bike.. Plus Id have to put more money into the slim just to get it 2 up ready and the look id want. I dont know just thinking out loud i guess. Love those Breakouts tho and the Nighttrains.. Just love that stlye..
I wanted a Breakout when I first saw one, which was 6 months after I got my Blackline...the poor mans Breakout. But in 3 tries to trade mine in for one, I just couldn't meet their price. Get one if you can...I wish I could.

Ya i do love the Breakouts style alot.. Just the price is steep. One thing im still not sure of if i really want to go back to a bike with foot pegs. I know its a big personal tast thing but ive grown to love Foot boards especially when i had my Fatboy Lo.. But man i just love the style of that Breakout..
Just me but I had two RK's and was getting to be an old fart, thought I might be better off on a Softail so I bought a new Deluxe. Big mistake, I'm now back on a '14 RK. Life is good!
Yeah me too! I had a 09 RKC and a 11 ultra limted. Now I have two softails. Tourers are great bikes but I feel completely at home on the softails.
Tourers are great bikes for sure im not knocking them one bit. They are awesome for riding 2 up and traveling in a straight line in comfort. But for me i never really travel far and i love ripping around the twisties and riding a lighter more nimble bike..And i dont like the high up and upright seating position of the RoadKing.. Plus ive always liked the way Softails look especially my Nighttrain.. I love that sleek custom look.. Ive seen some new Wide Glides look pretty nice tho with lower black shocks and some tweaks plus i like the nice flame paint on the tanks but my only beef with it is i like a wider tire up front to combat the crappy roads.. Part of the reason i love the Breakout that big 130 up front plus it has the Custom look...

FLOORBOARDS? No! No! No! The next thing you're going to say is you like windshields! No car parts for me. And if you get a Breakout, PLEASE don't add those to it.
