A little cloudy at the snake yesterday! turned out to be a great day of ridding! Had heard that the snake was better than the tail of the dragon. and I believe that it is. It is a must ride if you get the chance! The snake runs from Mt. city Tennessee to Bristol Tennessee.

I heard about that ride while I was stationed in the SE but didn't get a chance to ride it.

Haven't thought of it in a long while.

Thanks for the reminder.

It is a good ride if you like the twisties. I think it is better than the tail of the dragon. It was a 230 mile round trip for me. I'm surprised it isn't talked about more.

Have ridden The Snake several times. It's a really nice road, and there are other gorgeous, but less technical, rides in the immediate vicinity.

I was there a week and a half ago, and it looks like I had about the same weather you did; riding in the clouds between Bristol and Shady Valley. There's some good riding in that area.

Locals, and semi locals try to keep it quiet so it doesn't get screwed up like the dragon. Last time I was there was on a KTM Supermoto, and the speed limits were still 55.

I like that it is not as famous as the tail of the dragon. A fun area for sure.
