I commute every opportunity I get - only 32 miles round trip....while trip in is easy an easy 20 minutes - the drive home, in a car could take up to 60...Bay Area traffic is the worst - but on the bike its 30-40minutes and filtering.

I ride (short distance) every day, come home for lunch and to walk the dogs. When it rains, I ride my new-to-me scooter. I refuse to pay the outrageous parking fees downtown Sactown.

Bag is all I have left from my "bagger" days on the SG...

Was commuting 80 miles total. Now I am down to about 20 miles which is admittedly easier on sub 30 degree mornings.

I like to commute to work as often as I can on my bike. Since I live in florida, I get to ride it atleast a few times a week to work. I've got a 92 mile round trip that I make every day. So glad I upgraded to a street glide from my dyna last year.

My commute is a whopping 8 miles round trip, I can and actually have run to work in the past and changed in the bathroom.

If it's above 27 degrees, no snow, no ice or threat of snow or ice, and not raining in the morning I ride, except for recently nasty case of tendinitis in the right wrist. has relegated me to the truck.

I commute daily on my Sporty. It's a 10 mile ride one way and I get to use the HOV lane which is a huge benefit. Generally takes me about 12-15 minutes to my office. Since I bought the bike in June pretty much the only days I've missed so far are the two weeks I was sick over Christmas. I find that the ride in allows me to arrive refreshed and happy and the ride home allows me to decompress from the workday and puts me in a better frame of mind to deal with life at home.

I'm retired now, but I used to commute a 36 mile roundtrip on my FXR then later on my Road Glide. No freeway miles, all two lane, three traffic lights and two stop signs. 120,000 on the FXR when I sold it, probably a third of that commuting. 130,000 Road Glide, about a third of that commuting. Very few problems with either bike, and never anything major.

I commute as much as i can on my RKC. About 50 miles round trip, but only because I take the long way home after I pick up my daughter from her after school program. After work rides with my daughter makes all the BS from the rest of the work day disappear. In the summer I also drop her off at her day camp, she gets a kick out of being the only kid who gets to show up at camp on a motorcycle.

I ride every day that doesn't start off raining. I teach Automotive at a local high school about 14 miles from the house. The kids think it's great that a teacher with tattoos rides a Harley to school! I've been riding every day since getting back on them in '98, when I still worked at dealerships. Rode all those years on a hard tail without heated gear or a windshield. Funny what a few years of wisdom and a little money will change in your life.

My commute is about 50 miles round trip and I ride to work probably 99% of the time. I also vary the way I go into work, so some days have more mileage than others. Other days I have to travel between facilities which means I get to ride more during the day and I have a longer ride home. Traffic sucks but I still rather be on the bike, I think I take my jeep to work about once every 2-3 months. Mostly I use it to go to the grocery store and go to the post mail box, both of which are within a half mile of the house.
