Should've just let em have the damn thing. There isn't a piece of property in the world worth your life. Not his fault, just sayin.

Actually, no it can't. In Texas, or in Missouri where Ol' Larry was snuffed out.
In Texas, you can't kill a thief for stealing your property that can be REPLACED-(in this case an insured Harley). You will go to prison!

I'd be lying if I didn't admit that a part of me is really tired of living life as a well insured sheep.

The thugs out there count on that. (Look at the rash of owners at home break ins across the country.) It's time to make some of them think twice.

As to the second paragraph, Larry would probably now agree with you.
Stingy, I agree those scumbags deserved to be shot. But in Wisconsin they'll charge you with murder, outside your house.
About 10 years ago, in Racine, a Black Man shot a Hispanic who was breaking into his car. And approached him with a tire iron. It was a clear case of self defense, but he was convicted. I don't remember what the exact charge was.

I think it is time to change the law to giving the victims the benefit of the doubt.

It will be interesting to see if this case is even mentioned in the Morning News shows. And I guarantee he won't get the coverage that Michael Brown got. It's sickening.

With all due respect, there is no Federal law concerning transporting a firearm on a motorcycle. Those laws are strictly state by state.

In states that don't recognize my CCW, you revert to the Federal law and carry it unloaded and locked up.
