Previous criminal activity? When are we going to get intellectually serious and acknowledge the death penalty applied judiciously not only frees society from the costs associated with lifetime incarceration but is 100% effective at stopping recidivism. Civilized people don't allow snakes to bite a second victim.

Hadn't seen this thread until today, due to Sarah's other post. I am very saddened to read this thread, and angered...I hate hearing about violent crimes such as this from repeat offenders.

One thing I don't get and maybe there is a good explanation is why if the guy says Larry was on the trailer as they pulled out onto the highway why is he not visible in the video? I would think they studied and enhanced that video as much as possible but the only thing they mention seeing is the bike.....just wondering about that...

All three were charged with first degree murder, first degree robbery, first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and kidnapping.
