Its going to be cool when we start to see these stickers out on the road, hopefully his story won't be forgotten anytime soon.
I went on a poker run yesterday which started at one of the local dealerships. There were 2 LEOs posted there, I guess because free pizza and $1 beer can make those HOG members pretty ornery. Anyway, I got to talking with one of the two, a younger guy, and he mentioned he'd recently begun investigating motorcycle thefts and had no idea what a big problem it was. I told him Larry's story, among other things, answered a few questions and offered what I thought might be able to help. Long story short, Larry's story won't be forgotten as long as we don't allow it to be.
Larry Weaver's memory will be displayed on my windshield from Mn to Sturgis to Glacier National Park, and back to Mn, starting next Saturday.
RIP, Larry, you now get to ride with the real angels.
That's awesome to hear. Like Firenailer and Redoilokie said, we'll keep Larry's memory alive by representing his memory and his love of riding. We're like minded folks who have been affected by this story. I never met the man, but I feel like I know him. There's a kinship there that's hard to explain. He represents so much more than just the man. Maybe because he is me and he is you. It was an injustice that resounds throughout our community. It's so much bigger than the individual. Larry's family should be proud that he was the kind of man that touched the hearts of so many. Sticker or not, he will not be forgotten.

Ride on Larry Weaver.
As I said before...."But for the grace of God, go I."
Be careful out there. These are different times, for sure.
