Point taken. But, let me ask this. I didn't know Larry. But from all accounts, he was a really wonderful man, and from all accounts special in so many ways. From these accounts, that I've read, I can't believe for a minute, that Larry would want the rest of us hating, and wishing we could be the ones, to revenge his death. To let our lives be eaten up with bitterness and hate, and sink to the levels of those men who killed him over a piece of property. I see, from your very accounts of this man, for him to want us to rise above the evil that took him, to be better, and to leave his remembrance as a man who would have wanted better of us, for our sakes, because Larry seemed to care about all people. That was my take. I think Larry would have wanted more grace, and less hate. But I didn't know the man, many of you did. If I am wrong, please forgive me of overstepping my place, I surely didn't mean any disrespect for Larry, his family, or friends. Rest easy Larry Weaver, Your legacy rests in the hearts of many, and you are missed

This will be my last response to this thread.....Scout you can't possibly know how little I care about how offended you are, or what you said before that, and, after that.

Why would you post a compassionate reply to me, and then delete all your posts, and type up a "screw you Scout" post? Being a nice guy doesn't fit your image???

You are right and I apologize for my feelings floating to the surface here. I am truly sorry for Larry's family and Larry did not deserve to die. There any number of things that could have claimed Larry's fate but it is sad the perps reduced his life to the value of a motorcycle. RIP Larry.

Come on guys let’s get off this train and back on the reason for this thread. Larry’s story here doesn’t deserve being turned into another argument thread that gets shut down because of it.

Was riding down in Arkansas and stopped at the Oark General Store. On the door was a sticker for Larry with a book inside.

Ride on Larry Weaver...

Larry was a kind soul, he would not have hurt a flea. Super nice, always and I mean always had a smile.

Life has been crazy the last year. A lot of strife but a lot to be thankful for. Finally got a good ride in over the weekend, with some decent miles and time to reflect on what is important. Thought about my brother (my mentor and igniter of all things mechanical in my life), and two of my sisters, all of whom were taken from me prematurely.

I also thought about Larry, and what an amazing human he was. Whatever you ride for, think about someone who has made a positive impact in your life, and pass it on. I still believe in “Do good, and good will come to you”.

Ride on Larry Weaver, R.I.P; and may the passing of time bring some sense of healing to your family.
