I was worried that when I bought my Vivid Black 2015 Fat Boy that it would always look dirty, show swirls, etc. I remember my Dad telling me never to buy a black car.
Well, bikes are different. Black Bikes Matter, and my Fat Boy is the best looking motorcycle on the road. Because there is not all that much surface to keep polished, my Fat Boy always looks far better than anyone else's motorcycle.
Seems like most bikes I'm finding that interest me are black. I've never owned a black vehicle because I always hated that you could see every imperfection in the paint (Swirl marks, etc.). What do you guys think of black paint?
I love black. I have owned a number of black cars, trucks and bikes. Beautiful colour when it's clean. Swirl marks are very visible on this color. It shows dust very easily. I have used swirl remover, a good quality polish, both help keep the color look beautiful. Meguires has an excellent polish for black vehicles. If u like it, buy it!!
