I have a question about pullback.
Currently on a 2016 streetbob.
10" mini ape with 6.5 inch pull pack
I want to swap it out for the roland sands vintage bars.
12" with 4" pullback.
I have a bad shoulder. So my question is, is the 2.5" pullback difference going to be noticeable to where I might get shoulder pains. Of course you don't know my condition and how bad it hurts. But is the 2.5" a big difference?
I'd put a lot more thought into it if I were you.
I have a couple of discs in my neck that act up from time to time. I need lots of pullback.
For me it was lower, wider bars with about 9 inches of pullback (EVO Fatboy bars).
Try loosening up your riser clamp and move your bars forward 2.5" and try it. If you get the new bars you can move them fore or aft to where they're comfortable. Good luck.
Here's how I did mine . Shop for the 3 or 5 that you think you will like . Then buy all of them from the same on line retailer to save on shipping.
Receive them and try them all with your old bars seating to the tank. With a towel under them of course. Then keep the one you like the most and ship the others back.

2.5" could be a big difference. Only way to tell if it adversely impacts your shoulder condition is to try. Only thing for sure is that if the 10" mini ape with 6.5 inch pull pack causes pain, you can eliminate that sizing.
