The OP asked if they worked. He wasn’t looking for opinions on styling.

I moved my oil cooler out from behind the wheel, inside the engine guard. You have to look for it to see it. Some comments ran like “ if you don’t mind the ugly look” or something like that.

I see bikes that make me cringe. To each his own.

THANK YOU!

I have the "original" design that was made by Jason. Enough said.

Wow, I did not know the Love jugs / Wards issue & I can tell you from experience that patents are a joke, My Father is in the whos who of inventors - he created (idea) & had a design patent of said idea, then there are utility, mechanical patents - some trump others & as long as you change a certain percentage of the created product you can patent on that existing product, My Dad had his idea put on to a product with out his knowledge& he went to sue.....Love jugs would have had a hard time believe me - even blatant infringement suits start at 15k & can go as high as the heavens - Jason should of just paid royalties at the 4% range & kept building - not a thing Love jugs could do. don't even get me started on the maintenance fees for patents at the 20 yr mark.... dam I just typed this faster than hell, ok rant over lol.

regardless of who makes these things - they`re not going on my Bike!

Do you need to remove them to change spark plugs?
Don't know about the Mighty mites and removing the spark plugs as I have the Wards fans and I can remove the spark plugs with out removing the fan.....

That's what's great about America. Personal Choice. You don't buy what you don't want to buy and I'll buy what I want to buy.
Some people will understand.

I applied for and received a US Patent on an invention of mine. I spent thousands of dollars in research, and thousands in Patent Attorney fees. My patent att. directed me to patent a specific part as opposed to the greater product. The part in my patent is simple but used in the whole of the product. It's not iron clad, but it will put off most copy cats. It is up to the holder to defend the patent with help from the Attorney. I can assure you all that after obtaining the patent and all the hoops that are required jumped through, most of you would defend your patent as aggressively as most do when infringed.
Copyright and Patent applied and patent pending and US patent all mean different things. Support whomever's product you want. If you want to defend someone you don't know, because of you or your friends understanding of how legal undertakings work, or a perceived injustice to "the small guy", then be my guest. This kind of crap has been going on for quite a long time. Anyone can apply for a patent , and do due diligence and protect oneself against copy cats. To believe everyone has morals is naive, to be the one who makes the call on who is moral or not isn't up to anyone on this board.

i understand what you are saying but you have to figure out who and when you are going after the people infringing on your product, and wheather its worth your money and time to put your foot down . ifs its a great product you wont ever have to worry abut your product it will always hold up. and you dont have to spend all the money it costs to go to court. and thats how the world of products work. just saying i watch the shark tank
