Just got my front lower forks chromed and put on. Looks great on 2008 Fatboy.
Needed to adjust brake caliper (dragging) and found that when I tighten the bolts holding it to the fork legs, the calipers / pads drag more. When the bolts are not tightened down, the tire spins almost freely.
I have tried shimmying the caliper over with washers and have centered the rotor pretty good in the caliper. Do I need to take the caliper apart and push the pistons back in?
Things I'd check
-Axle alignment relative to fork
-Different torque values, there's an acceptable range (I found my success here on my fatty)
-Clean the caliper & pistons
-Spacers are correctly ordered
