Rumbleon?
Problem is accessories add almost nothing to the value of a bike. You have a $5,000 bike, you put $5,000 worth of chrome and accessories on it that doesn't make a $10,000 bike. You still have a $5,000 bike, unless you can find that special person that wants the bike with exactly the accessories you put on it.
A 1990 Heritage, according to NADA is worth between $1,100 and $5,000 from a dealer, depending on condition and with a warranty, a recent service and tires on it. From a private seller that is a $2,500-$3,500 bike max.
Rumble on gives you pretty much what any dealer would give you on trade in. In other words they give you the Wholesale price (and they sell at retail that's how they make money) and considering Rumble On removes the hassle of dealing with idiots on Craigslist or Facebook Market Place the $1,000 loss is probably worth it.
This is also a terrible time of year to sell a bike, the riding season is over, no one is rushing out to buy a bike. If you can wait until spring you will get a better price for it.

I have another suggestion.
Go take a riders course and learn to ride your fathers motorcycle. What better way to honor his love for the motorcycle than for you to ride it.
