Default Picked up another v-twin!

God Almighty does this thing go. Never owned a sport bike before so I'm taking it easy, I don't want to accidentally lift the front wheel when I'm not expecting it. Sounds great, has a fantastic rumble and power everywhere. I still have my Softail, no worries there. Previous owner is a coworker of mine, so I know the history. 10k miles, CR swing arm and sprocket, denoided, Jardine exhaust, custom tuned ECM from HD, heated grips and new tires.

What year is that? Doesn't look like a Sportster motor in there.

2008. The 1125R and 1125CR use 72* DOHC liquid cooled Rotax engines. 146 hp, 10,500 redline. I originally wanted an XB9 or XB12 but this happened to come along.

Congrats on your Buell. You now own one of the very few "Harleys" that can run with the big dogs.

I always thought if I went the sport bike route that a Buell would fit my nicely.

I'm not up on the lingo so what is a "CR swing arm" and "denoided"?

Awesome! I had test ridden a 1200 Firebolt and Lightening Long. The amount of fun I had on those bikes was ridiculous. I can only imagine the Rotax engine in that chasis. Congrats and enjoy!

The CR is the naked version of the 1125, and it has a different rear sprocket geared more for acceleration. In order to swap the sprocket onto the R model, the swing arm must be changed too. And as far as denoided: The EPA determined that at full whack there was too much intake noise, so there is a little solenoid that partially closes the throttle blades at a given engine speed and load (right before peak torque coincidentally) to prevent this. By removing the solenoid, you don't experience the power drop off.
