Happened on my lowered 2002 S/S. No way to get in there unless I dropped the rear wheel which was a no go. Took it to my Indy and he had a long 2' looking flexible rod with a roach clip on the end. Slid that sucker up underneath the tire, held the clip in place and screwed in the bolt.

Must depend on the dealer. I have made numerous trips to my HD dealer service dept. for "minor" issues and no charge..ever!

I feel like a fool, the tech tried for a few minutes to get his hand between the fender and wheel and that was a no go, so he took it to the lift. Then he felt like a fool, he pulled away the ECM and bingo, the tab position is about an inch away from the opening to where the ECM sits. We got it fixed up in 30 seconds.

No charge but I gave him $10. My dealership is always nice to me and I am always nice to them.
