Default Replacing crash bars vs chromed guards?

I met this Motor Officer this weekend at the Lone Star Rally in Galveston. He has designed, patented and is in the early stages of production of what he calls "Motorcycle Practice Guards." I assume these are designed for those who routinely practice low speed maneuvers and motor officers. I have seen other type products on the market but never anything that looks like a factory part, bolts on and is repairable with a grinder. I asked him about prices and he said they vary depending if chromed. These things fit all Harley baggers front and rear crash bars and really look nice. He didn't have any with him to sell this weekend other than the ones bolted to his police bike. He was there to hand out cards, check out the rally and will have a booth next year, but I lost his card. He advised they can be installed for practice purposes or left on for everyday use. Best of all, made right here in Texas. Does anyone have these?

I checked out the riding videos but there are no prices listed as of yet. He must be in the very early stages of production.

Back when I was doing low speed motor patterns, we Zip-tied split automotive heater hoses around the "engine guards". If you are proficient, crash bar protection isn't needed.

The Delphi forums has a link to something that sounds similar to what he's peddling, transmission shaft covers. Or as mentioned, an old inner tube or raditor hose works with some zip ties

No, I have his website with pictures I just didn't want to break any rules or want to appear as if I was "peddling" anything. These are made from 1020 steel and clamp on using chrome bolts and acorn nuts.
