My leather jacket rides up on my back past my belt. I know some jackets come with belt hooks or something similar, but I've never really seen them. I'm looking to sew or snap something (on the inside) on to my current leather at the back or sides.
Anyone ever done this? Any ideas?
Jacket fits fine otherwise, and I don't want to buy a new one.
My jacket rode up also. I took it to the local dry cleaners where they have women doing alterations and stuff. They cut the sides and put in vertical zippers about 4-5 in length. When I go to sit on the bike I can unzip them quick relieving the bottom of the jacket and this allows me to sit on the tail piece (basically pinching it between my lower back and the seat), and the front piece hangs down a little further so that the jacket doesnt push up in the front either. (Eliminated the bunching around the stomach area).
Maybe something like a hat retainer.
Nothing more that a small rope with a clip on each end.
Used to keep from having a baseball cap fly off and disapear
For example:
Chums Cap Retainer
or
Croakies Lid Latch (Hat Retainer Clips)
Basically run through a belt hoop and clip to jacket liner
