Default Padlock

Hi everybody. I have a question about the Harley padlock.
My bike came with one of this old padlock from Harley Davidson and I want to know if there a please on the bike to store it safe.
Is there a place for example inside the saddlebags where you can lock your paddle lock to avoid that this is not stolen?
Thanks

Well, if you park the bike where you think your padlock might be stolen, why not use said padlock to lock the bike and keep it from being stolen? Solve both problems.

Back when I had one I carried it in a belt loop. I can tell where NOT to put it. I had a buddy who had some kind bolt that held the lock where the two frame tubes meet under the neck (where you would mount an engine guard). I remember telling him he he might dent his fender on a big bump and he told me I was "full of it". He may well be right but he sold that bike with a big dent in the fender

Assuming that you have non locking saddlebags, (you don't say anything about your specific bike), what would stop someone from stealing your saddlebags?

There are two floorboard mounts on the brake side of my FLH. The lock fits perfectly over the front one, and hasn't even messed up the chrome (not that you can see it much anyway). Easy access, and out of the way.

The lock came with a braket that mounted high on the down tubes like someone else mentioned where you could connect an engine guard. There’s a hole, and the bracket is designed to be mounted there.
I was given the lock without a bracket, did a search and found one on ebay loose
