Just wondering if anyone has got this done on their bike.. How it holds up on chrome and high heat areas.
Yep. I had the headers and heat shields on my '18 Fat Bob Cerakoted back in the spring and it has held up perfectly on both for the last 5K miles or so.
One thing to be aware of is that ceramic coating is really, really thin so you need to make sure the metal is finished well before coating or you will see any imperfections right through the coating.
I asked the guy that did my pipes how much to do the tank and fenders and his recommendation was not to do it as you would easily see any blemishes. Also, if there's any filler on the parts you want coated, it won't stick to it.
I very much doubt ceramic coating would adhere to chrome. You would need to chemically etch off the chrome and get down to bare metal before coating.
Yes it reduces temps, yes they still get hot but no where near chrome. Yes as Sarah says they cool fast. Mine is Jet Hot done 10 years ago and still shine like new when cleaned. Anything you do to reduce engine temps is a plus.

I had my chrome slip-ons ceramic coated black. The guy is really good. He wouldn't do it if it wouldn't work. I've had them about 3 months and they look like the day I got them.
