Default Bike Pickup

Can you order your bike and watch it being built then take it home?

I remember something like that many years ago. You went on the factory tour and picked up your bike at the end. I don't think you watched your bike being assembled though.
I don't know if they still have the program. You can ask a dealer.

No.

Hey neighbor, you should keep your Fat Boy. They don't make them like that anymore.

Even if you could order from a dealer and take delivery at the factory, you would still pay for freight and setup. Nothing will ever take the dealer out of the loop of sales

All you gotta do is buy a new Milwaukee 8. Then you can watch the dealer install a couple engines in it

You can't pick up a Corvette at the factory either.

You can order "Museum" delivery though a dealer (extra cost option).
The car is then produced at the factory, and shipped to the museum (even though it is just across the road, shipping cost is the same as everyone else).
The museum is acting as the delivering dealer in this case.

You are still going through a dealer to order, purchase, and pickup.
