I have a cheapo WalMart moint zip tied to the bars. It holds the phone on three sides with spongy pads. I've ran up around 90 mph or so and it's been solid.

I have liked this RAM mount other than what has always been the obvious to me, and that is that the tether keeps the phone, at least my Galaxy S8 plus, locked into such a position that to keep it there would have the power button under one of the restraints. Lame.
