What I am seeing more and more of is that most of these bikes are covered with “Live to Ride” crap (even funnier when the seller says all dealer installed). WTF, live to ride and you did 5k miles in 10 years. Harley should restrict the sales of that **** to those that actually ride.
just a turd disturbance. . Cancer post...

“Garage Queens” wanna be bikers, posers.. what is the point to buy a bike if you trailer it around everywhere. Bikes meant to be ridden, cars meant to be driven. It just means riding isn’t their real passion, posing is.

My King

Prevkus owner 2009-2016 17,000 = 2,450 year

Me 8/2016-Current odo 45,000 = 11,200 year

If I had it for the full 10 years... 112,000.

I’d say my bike went from Garage Queen to Road King!

I wonder how much money changed hands over LTR RTL trinklets. Sounds like it is/was a money maker. If you have to advertise what you are or want to be your probably not.

Default different take

I like to buy my bikes new (all of them) then I do as much as I can to them to personalize them all while riding them as much as time permits.
Sometimes when I get done fixing the bike all up just the way I like it; I get bored and decide I need a new project and start the process all over again.
Yeah kinda dumb, but it is a hobby of sorts, albeit an expensive hobby which I enjoy almost as much as riding and anyone who buys one of my bikes used gets the deal of a lifetime and I got the fun "in my lifetime" .
Lots of reasons bikes sit it the garage... esp in this day of distracted drivers but each and everyone of us who owns a motorcycle buys it for our self, even the people that just want to wear HD gear and get motorcycle tattoos etc.
Live in peace... life is short... sometimes those bikes in the garage are there because it's owner never found a buddy to go out with.

Had to check. One of these has a LTR-RTL on the Derby Cover, but I know it had 5K + miles put on it in 2 weeks last year. There are lots of reasons bike have the mileage they do. Bottom line, if it's not yours it doesn't really matter mileage, color, chrome, blacked out, etc.. I know I don't ride as much as I once did and I'll swap a weekend ride for a visit with grandkids in a heartbeat - 9 of them. I also usually buy a bike a year and get it back right and on the road, so the riding I do is divided. When I feel obligated to explain why I ride or how much to anyone that didn't pay for my bike, I'll let you know.

He actually lives the LTR RTL. It's not on his derby cover though.
