But somehow DNR treats them like they are one step below endangered. Which is worse killing a wolf or a turkey? Wolf might be federal prison still, around here. Whatta ya in for?

Me and my wife were staying in the PA Poconos a couple years ago, we were in a nice place that backed right up to the woods. At about 6 in the morning on the second day we were woke by noises coming from the door. It sounded like someone was tapping loudly on the door. I got up and peeked out the window and there were 3 or 4 turkeys on the porch pecking away at our door. After they left I discovered what drew them in... Over night a bunch of moths had been attracted to the porch light and had landed on our door. The turkeys were simply indulging in the breakfast buffet by pecking the moths off the door.
