I carry the tools to change the clutch cable on the side of the road, including snap ring pliers. Would have to limp into a dealer and buy the cable, but I would change it in their parking lot, lol...

Glad you are better now OP. I would have ordered Magnum Shielding matching cables.

Mine was still good on the '09 I had after 87,000 miles.

Life is good

You supposedly have money, but it looks like you took that diamond grating to someone across the railroad tracks to get the hole put in it to be able to put logs through into the 'pit' part. Looks like crap.

Looks like you were on Roosevelt road and about to jump onto RT 83. Wild Fire Harley Davidson is not far from there. You could have limped there or they would have been happy to pick you up with a trailer to fix the cable. Glad that you were not left stranded Buddy.

BTW, I ride a Heritage like you do, and before I switched my leather bags for hard bags, I was looking into bag stiffening kits. There are a few out there that would make your bags look new again and they are not expensive.

This is how it looks now with hard bags:

Thanks Man, fire pit has held up pretty good after burning about ten cords in 8 years.
It used to look like this since you obviously seem to be intrigued with it.

Nice looking bike Man! I called Ray my tow guy (I think he is now out of business) called my wrench, he was out of town, then I did call Wild Fire and their guy was not available. Thus I made the decision to ride it home.

I am a little concerned about the trans, put a new baker 6 speed in her last summer. Am sure it's ok..
