Default 2020 Roadking thoughts

Well the Virus has stuffed Tour Plans so I have bit the bullet and just ordered a new Road King...not the special...with the 107 in Billard Ball Red. I currently have a2011 Road King.
We do not have the problems that some do with emmission controls so will be doing a Stage 2. What are peoples thoughts on doing either Screaming Eagle, which tend to be along the emmission control side or S&S. I want to get rid of the Cats so I guess that means new headers as well as I believe the Cats are up in there. If I go S&S is the Warranty still good. I have read a lot of reviews on S&S and SE and it seems that S&S have a lot more parts to their kit and they replace some less strong parts that SE use....I am not a mechanic and have no real knowledge apart from what I hear read or see... Just wondering what you guy's and girl's think

I personally believe that Harley got all my money for the bike so I take all modifications and accessories to the aftermarket.

BTW, I think the cats are in the mufflers now on the newer bikes but get a 2nd opinion on that.

Nope, still in the header on the touring bikes, which is what we're talking about here.

If you want your warranty to remain in tact on the power train then you will need to go all in on the screaming eagle parts. If you don't care about the warranty then the part selection is endless. Look on the M8 thread and search for the cam thread. There is tons of info on there. I've got a 2018 and it's the best Harley I have ever had. Good luck.

OP is in New Zealand, EPA consent decree may not apply there. Something he'd have to check out with dealer.
