I trying a Bagger Shield brand two piece on my '16 FLHTK. Higher for cold temps and rain. Lower for warm riding. This is NOT an electric shield.

A riding bud has the adjustable electric one on his BMW. I am jealous.

I think at what Harley sells at what the price point is. That is the biggest problem. It is a huge turn off in sales. I looked on website for the breakout. Starts around 20,500. I bought a similar(similar not same ) Honda VTX 1300c( I know 114) brand new in 2006 for 8,500$. Yes it was years ago and there are some differences but at almost 3 times the price good luck. I also looked at the Suzuki M109r starts at 15,900$
While the stock is rebounding a bit. There has been absolutely nothing to install confidence in me as investor to think that they gonna make me money. They will continue to put out heavy underpowered bikes that cost an arm and a leg. You gotta beg for liquid cooled and extra power that you gotta spend Big for. Until they get a better return on what you pay for it’s gonna be difficult to gain more of a market share.

BMW, Indian, and Honda, are the three bands I am familiar with that have models with electronically adjustable windscreens. Even my suspension is electronically adjustable with automatic preload. Harley has the look, they need the tech. Tech does not require having an electric motorcycle, it requires having features that improve the riding experience and this is really important for tour motorcycles. So I would add in RDRS should be across the line on the tour models in the last.

Not me. She asked me how to make her ***** bigger. I told her to rub TP on them. When she asked me why, I told her "Look what it did for your ***."
That's when the fight started.

...the electric windshields on the touring Indians are nice, BUT I've ridden a dozen or so of them at a dozen Indian Demo rides in the last 5 or 6yrs and when the bike starts to get some miles on it, seems like the movable windshield hinges wear resulting in rattling or even vibration "buzzing" from the windshield.

...this is my doom & gloom for this thread even though it was Indian related.

I kinda like simple features like air cooled, hydraulic lifters, and a clutch that can be removed with out splitting the bike in half, like the BMW.
