.........or these guy's have more money than brains?
Let me see if I understand this correctly? In your mind's eye, just because a guy elects to spend his hard earned cash however the helll he pleases, that makes him light in the brain department? Frankly, most folks should be so fortunate as to have such 'decisions/options' at their disposal.
Told you all ready not bashing just getting the other point of veiw to me if you see one cvo you has seen them all no hart and soul to them. and if you want resale buy a house i have a bike to ride not to sell.
A CVO or one of those custom choppers for big $$$ what's the difference. I think the quote back a couple posts says it all on why people buy these things, "I get a ton of rubber necking and compliments."
As for me, I'm just as happy on a flat black no badge Shovel chopper as on one of those fancy paint job every HD add-on bikes. Some are in it for the ride, others for the show, depends on which one you are.
I don't want any one to get the wrong idea here don't care what you ride. all i'm wandering is what made you go with that instead of buying a stocker and making it what you want (bigger engine, custom paint, ect.)Wish i had the money to do a bunch more stuff to mine
I have no problem with them. Some of them are very nicely done. A buddy of mine has an 06 SE Ultra and loves it. Personally I could not constitute the price. And for the most part they are not my taste. Too much bling. But if you've got it like that by all means go for it. At least for that kind of money you can actually put some good miles on them unlike the bar-hoppin' billet bardges some people invest $40k in.

I'm thinking about ordering an Ultra CVO. I've suspected I am stupid for many years, but really didn't know for sure until it was confirmed today. Why am I buying one instead of buying a cheaper model and stacking stuff on it? 'Cause I want to and I can.
