Chrome license plate bracket installation
Word of thanks forst for all the great help here. I have a chrome license plate bracket to install on my '05 Fat Boy. The heads of the attachment screws are obstructed by the upright of the bracket and the nuts are WAY up under the fender. I have determined the nuts are 7/16th and my plan is to 1. Jack up the motorcycle to hopefully gain a little extra space between tire and fender 2. Use a small, 1/4" drive rachett with socket inside the fender and an offset phillips head to try to hold the screw heads. The bracket didn't come with chrome screws so I will run over to a local shop to get chrome screws to replace stock once I get them out so I get similar replacements in chrome. Will this plan work? Your help is once again greatly appreciated. P.S. I tried to post this in "Do it Yourself" but it wouldn't let me.

I put the laid back license plate on my 05 fatboy using a 1/4 drive ratchet and socket without lifting the bike. Worked fine even though not much space. No damage done. Someone with small hands shouldn't have a problem reaching up under there. A second pair of hands also helps when holding the license plate while installing. Just my 2 cents
