Thanks. Ordering on line was not an option for me for the reason you mentioned: poor fit. I wanted to try them on before buying and the HD store was the only place I could do that. Yep, still north of $100 ($135), not even the transition type, but still worth it to get rid of the distortion. I do not wear prescription glasses, only readers. I can see the road signs and such better now.

The local HEB (grocery store) sells these economically priced sunglasses just like the ones used by the guys from SAMCRO...
for $5 a pair... they work well enough , Ive got 4 pair

The wife has a pair of yellow tinted riding glasses that she picked at the commissary on base. She's happy with them. Says they are identical to the ones she wore in Iraq (she's a retired army combat medic).
