Has Harley Davidson figured out a way to put a tachometer on a 2007 FXD. My buddy has called the dealer about 3 or 4 months ago and they said that there's nothing available beyond 2005. The 2008's are out now and I would think that they would have come up with something by now.
Have you noticed that there are either a rear 17" wheelor a front 19" wheel available in almost all of the solid wheels for Dyna's but not both a rear and a front wheel.
There is only one wheel available in both front and rear; the Road Winder at $1200 each. Why would they make one front or one rear wheel available in the various styles?
Who would put one wheel of one style on either the front or the rear and put another wheel of another style on the other?
Snake Harley-Davidson in Twin falls told me a tach could be added, it would connect to the risers, price was around $230 plus install unless you do it yourself. i have not ordered the parts since i have not decided if that is the way I want to go.
Well, me for one. I have the stock FXD mag on the front, Fatboy solid disc on the back. By the way, I like the look.
That look is fine and I'm glad that you like it but, there are 17 different styles of non-spoke wheels in the 2008 accessories and parts catalog and only one will fit both the front and rear of '06 and later Dynas. There are 4 that will fit the rear only. You would think that, now that the '06 is technically a three old model year with the debut of the '07 and '08 model years, that there would be more solid wheels offered to fit both the front and the rear and be a matched set for 3 model years of bikes.

You didn't happen to get some part numbers? I would like to look into it for my buddy. I told him to buy the Low Rider.
