I just bought my SG three(ish) weeks ago. BTW I LOVE the M8 engine. LOVE IT! I have already replaced the seat and should be getting my new KST 12" bars today and I'll work on that tonight. For now, I am more than happy with the engine, but when the time comes, and it will, I'll buy the license and use my PV on the new AND old bikes. The fact you even considered the cam swap, you did good getting the PV I think.
Side note, and only because I've been curious; what headers would you be using? The heads on the M8 are new and it seems that most aftermarket headers kill the low end torque.
The mufflers actually affect the torque more than the headpipe.. Come on over to the M8 section, and you can read for days about exhaust.
Looking forward to your pics with the KSTs installed!

@RIPbiker13 I am not sure which ones I would go with. I would imagine probably Rinehart? Can you mix slip-ons and headers?
Well I've got Rinehart headers and Khrome Werks slip ons so I can only speak to that combo. Sometimes you can run into variations in chrome from one brand to another.
Typically headers and slip ons can be mixed. As mentioned above there can sometimes be a slight variation but not often. When I did stage 2 last winter on my 2011 RKC I went with Jackpot 2-1-2 header and Cobra slash downs. The exhaust will effect both performance and sound for sure.
Adding to this one, slightly late: The supposed ease of use of the FP3 actually goes both ways. If you want to adjust a map, you can ONLY do it via the cell phone app and ONLY next to the bike while it is in IGN mode. Not only is it a pain to fill out an entire map on the phone and takes forever (your battery will love it), but might be a serious inconvenience for someone who doesn't have their bike close to them.
I bought the FP3 2 years back, mainly because I thought its more limited functionality would suffice for my purposes (So far true, but I am hitting the limits). But the price difference back then also was a consideration, given what I then thought I wanted out of a tuner.
Now, that both seem to be much closer in price, I would definitely go for the PV. Allows you to edit maps on your computer which makes things a lot easier. Actually, I would go for the PV no matter what.
So, @maxxym , right decision made!
