CEL WITHOUT a code; is this really a common issue?

CEL WITHOUT a code; is this really a common issue?
I'm putting this here because it may not be model or year specific & others may have an idea of what to do next.
'07 Ultra w/ true duals and hi-flow intake. No other engine mods. ~25K miles.
Recent updates/repairs include new rear brake light switch, new neutral switch, new IAC valve.
Bike has taller bars, but the wire extensions were done right with staggered, soldered connections, with heat shrink on all connections after filing down the "solder ball" to remove any burs or sharp points.
Been 2+ years of trouble-free operation, so I do not believe the bar wiring is causing or related to the CEL issue.
CEL illuminates at startup and remains on.
ZERO codes.
Bike seems to run fine (now that the IAC valve has been replaced).
What's the next course of action to address the light being on if there isn't a code?
BTW, I keep checking for codes, but they always show "NO RESP" or "NONE".

All of my bulbs are LED & they all work. They have been LED for almost 2 years. T/S are Custom Dynamics w/o additional load resistors (not required on an '07), the headlight & passing lights are Sunpie.
BTW, there is no security system on this bike, I should have mentioned that in my original post.
Also... brand new battery installed as well.
The CEL w/o a code is a recent issue...

From a Google search...that you've probably already done.
Why is my check engine light on with no codes?
Generally if the light is coming on and no codes are stored the processor that triggers the light is faulty or the circuit is shorted to power. disconnect that circuit from the ECU if the light goes off probably an issue with the ECU, if the light stays on look for a short to power on that circuit.

And/or try a code reader, sometimes it can just not read the codes.
I had one occasionally on a Bronco with a true dual exhaust (by PO) and turned out the oxygen sensors would occasionally cause the CEL and no codes, might be true on a motorcycle.

i have a 2019 roadglide special. with the gts, you are able to read codes. i had a cel on one time and going through the gts, it showed no codes. but when i pulled the codes using the speedometer, it gave me one code. i cleared it, the light went out, and the fault never came back.

I think I recall reading somewhere that if you have a code and don't clear it the bike will display the code for a certain amount of starts then clear it by it's self. Maybe I'm hallucinating or something...
Was there a code at any other time before that you fixed and didn't clear?
