Where do you store your registration papers and other small items?
I was thinking of getting either a front handle bar mount bag or a rear license plate mounted bag to hold my papers, but want something that will keep secure and the papers protected from rain, dirt, etc.
I saw those chrome storage tubes in the HD catalog and was wondering if adding that to my Sportster would be a good idea, but it doesn't look like those tubes have a lock on them.
i was thinking about the same thing... currently i have req & ins in wallet... But would love to have it somewhere on my bike. at the moment i dont have any bags for my nightster. so i may just have to keep carrying them in the wallet.
IMO, having on your person seems alot better. Mines in my wallet (with a chain on it so it dont get lost should it try and escape when Im riding) so I know that if I dont have them, then I dont have my license either!
If you have a removable seat most of the Harley's have open frame tube ends under the seat.
There are tons of creative ways to hide papers in there...i.e, plastic Cigar tubes with wire taped to them.
The Cops smile as you drag things up out of there.

Mine is in a ziplock bag stuck behind the metal frame inside the electric caddy cover on the dynas.
I've done the same thing with the zip lock bag on both my WG and UC. My daughter has a small chrome tube that you can buy on e-bay for aroune $40 that bolts to the license plate. Looks good on her bike and works well.
I have all of my paperwork (regestration, Ins. card, copy of drivers license) sealed in a packing slip envelope stuck to the underside of my saddle bag lid. Some of my sporty friends did the same but stuck it under their seat.
