Default High gas prices???

Is the high gas prices that our current government has going on gas will it dictate how much you ride this summer?.
Also will it dictate how much you spend on the Harley you have now ?.
Also will it effect on getting a new Harley?
Thanks.

The higher gas gets, the more I’ll ride mine. I’ve no plans of getting a new bike. Mine is just as I want it.

No
No
No (only 'cause I can't afford a new one)

at $2 bukz a gal more compared to two years ago, my 4-5000 miles a year on the bike is roughly 60 cents a day spread over a year.
I think I can budget that and still buy a biggie pop and slim jim at the Circle K
If need be, I'll drop the slim jim

No. I ride my bike every chance i get in the summer. my car gets driven pretty much only when it's going to rain and i have to go to work.
No. One is set up pretty much how i want it and the other has a warranty i dont want to void.
No. I just got one.

My vacation to Sturgis might be on the chopping block though. Cost has already about doubled since the trip was planned and they say it's going to get worse.

My car gets 10-14MPG. My Jeep gets maybe 16.
The Harley gets about 25.

None of my vehicles are very economical, but if I was really concerned about that I'd have a Honda Civic or some other 45+MPG shitbox.

Business as usual for me. Planning a few trips that will involve trailering a couple of bikes. It'll be expensive but I have the means and I'm not going to stop living life my way just because the powers-that-be want to try to make us.

My bike gets 42-47 mpg. My truck gets 17-20 mpg. Guess I’ll be riding the bike more.

The price of gas has absolutely zero impact on my motorcycle habits. I will continue to modify my current bike. I’m not interested in getting a new bike, but if I was, I would not be deterred by the price of gas.

Yes, the high cost of gas means that I will ride more and take the cage out less. Before the pandemic I was mostly using the bikes for commuting and some in state trips. My mileage was about 7K miles per year. Mine are small bikes that I take on small rides. Early in the pandemic I was seldom venturing out and every trip was combined with shopping that wouldn't fit in the saddlebags, so I got out of the habit of riding. This year I'm determined to ride as much as possible.

No, it's not a price of gas thing, but I will wind up spending more on my current bikes because I'll be due for service on them. That wasn't an issue the last couple of years when I was driving the car and van more. As far as other spending on the bikes, yes there will be some but it's all going to be on mods that I've wanted all along.

No, high gas prices aren't going to determine whether I get a new bike or not. The cost of EVERYTHING might determine how much fun money I have in my pocket. If it's enough to buy I bike that I see and like, I'll get it. If not, I won't.
