My battery finally died on my '02 Dyna! Any suggestions on a good replacement? I was looking at a Sears, they seem to be pretty reasonable ($60). Anyone ever buy one from Interstate Battery? If so, what was the cost?
Buy a drag battery....they are made by the big battery company that starts with a Y, and they have a one year warranty at any Drag dealer in the country, just walk in and exhange.

That warranty is a good selling point. I wonder why they don't mention it on their website?
I think the hd batt is one of the best out there.I have had the sears die hards before the no maint batterys.they didnt last any longer then the hd ones.last batt i bought was a maint free one for a 1996 i had 4 years old still strong never took it outta the bike no charger on it ever. That was first maint free batt I had for a bike made a believer outta me.
I got 4 years out of the original battery (1993), after that....Two years. (I know, I know...There are you luckybros that get four, five, even seven years out of a battery...Not me.) I don't get too chummy with any battery I purchase, and I've had; DieHard's, AC Delco's, Yusa's, Exides, and HD's. All last two years, then I'm on borrowed time. I've: Used battery tenders, pulled the battery in winter and monthly charged it, and also just left the battery in bike untouched. Alldo nothing to increase the life span. Two years...Then be prepared for it to die. Oh, they're sneaky. They'll start the bike fine. Perhaps a couple times. Then the turn signalsdon't work. The tachometer goes crazy. The bike start to run rough.Time to find a good place to sit. Luckily, mine has always died either at bars, parking lots,or motels. Never out on the highway.
Oh, and when they do die....There is nothing you can do to start the bike. Oh, I managed to 'jumped' it one time...Got five miles out of town....Dead at the scene.
Also, when you get a new battery...Put it on a 2amp charger overnight. Mostnew batteries have an inital charge. But not a full charge.
