Given the success of the PanAmerica, I wouldn't be surprised to see another, smaller ADV bike released using the 975cc version of the RevMax engine.
Probably not until '24 though.
Harley accidentally showed on their accessories webpage two new denominations for smaller Pan America motorcycles (they took it down after some people reported it - Motorcycle Online, myself on my blog and Mike from Riding in the Ozarks YT channel).
So, expect to see a smaller Pan America really soon.
I'm planning on an end of year '22 or new '23, depending on the new Heritage colors. '16 and '17 were the end of the beautiful two tone Heritages after decades of stunning paint jobs. These strait, bland billiard colors that started in '18 look thin, no depth of color = cheap. Profit driven, it cost more for metal flake and pearl, but those paint jobs set Harley apart from anyone else. Harley paint attracted attention, you couldn't help but stare, Who the hell stares at vivid black or grey. Think back, remember how stunning the new paint jobs looked in September ? If there are no stunning colors for '23 Heritages ( don't really care for '22 colors much ) I may just keep what I have as I am pushing 70. Performance Orange in 2020 on my Sport Glide will be my last .

Quite correct. I remember seeing MANY customized bikes. Every nut & bolt chrome. Eng mods up the wazoo and factory paint jobs.
The blue and black combo they have now looks pretty good, but it only comes on a few models

I will say my 2018 heritage in twisted cherry along with defiance collection add ons make it look classy. Not a fan of the current tank badge or the colors.
I spoke to a salesman in KC that told me the dealership has received the colors for the 23s but that it was unlikely management was ready to share the info. So now it's just a matter of finding someone that will.
