Automatic clutches
I got some time to go riding Friday afternoon. After about 100 miles I pulled into a mobile truck stop to top off the tank and bottle of water. There was two hertiges also getting gas. So I struck up a conversation there a husband and wife from Arkansas on their way to the lake of the ozarks for a few days. I happened to notice Mike that s the husband he was missing his last 3 fingers on his left hand he saw me looking and said he lost them in a accident in 2019 he told me after he got better he wasnt going to give up riding so he had a automatic clutch installed on his bike then had one put on his wifes also so he could ride.I did not know Harley had automatic clutchs I new Honda did learn something new every day

Harley doesn't make auto clutches, but Rekluse makes auto clutches https://rekluse.com/products/v-twin/

may I ask did a dealership do the installation or Indy what was the labor cost. I am no mechanic and I have no Indy shop in my area closest dealer is 60 miles away I am going to ride there Friday and ask if they would do the installation and cost thanks

I had a indy do it. Whole job was $1500 I believe.

The Rekluse Clutches are very common on Dirt Bikes especially ones used for tight trail riding. I have yet to try one, but the concept has me intrigued for a street bike.
