Watching that pawnstars show and seen that Harley made a scooter!
Early 60s. According to script, to compete with like Vespa which had a run back then and people here contemplated buying them. Thankfully its not popular here. Yet.
But I snagged a photo off tv. So I say again, who knew? Anyone actually own one?
Back in the 60s Harley bought a 50% interest in an Italian motorcycle company called Aermacchi. https://timeless2wheels.com/685408/a...rley-davidson/ They had an established line of small displacement two strokers.
The now gone Columbia Motorcycle Harley-Davidson dealer in Vancouver,Washington had a Topper in the window at their old location where they were for many decades starting in 1946. The old boy that owned it passed and the shop moved to a new location near the interstate,it was no longer displayed and recently the shop was bought out and closed down. The nearest H-D shop is on the other side of Portland,Oregon now (Ugg!) so we have nothing close anymore here in SW Washington near the border.
The closest shop in Washington is up in Olympia over 100 miles away.
It's sad to see the old shops disappearing and some of the old scoots they had around on display.

MXJunky snagged his Street Bob from the I5 location about a year before they moved to Oregon City. Now MXJ goes to the shop in Beavertron (sic) near that old Honda shop.
