... trying to sell the sizzle and not the steak, and they pretty much forgot to talk about the steak at all. No real details. ...
Hoping they'll have some more introductions later in the year. They usually do.

Those two posts about cover whole "New Era" HD had been touting.
I started to watch the video and couldn't make it through it. Nice scenery on the ride depicted.. I like the CVO's but when I figured out the cost plus the tax, set up then figured the trade value difference, I was at my bike plus 42+ grand that I would have to fork over to get one. I just can't rationalize it. There's no motorcycle made that I would pay that for.
Even the limited Road Glide or Ultra in two tone paint with tax and set up are close to the 40 grand mark. Just don't want one bad enough to part with the money to buy one.
I thought one of the riders in the ST video was a chick...made me really uncomfortable when it was 2 dudes that looked meaningfully at each other at the end.
Right! And who, besides a woman, wear a white leather jacket??

So true. You could customize your own paint and accessories and spread it over a few years to get the same basic thing. I would bet at much cheaper overall.
Not unlike an HMO telling you, you cannot have a $2000 shed. So you need to spend $5000 extra on a third garage bay. uggh!
So what am I missing here - regarding the CVO Pan America, they want $9K for bags and paint. Those are the only differences between the PA1250 special and the CVO.
Meh..... I guess the new bikes are ok. I like the tail lights on the Street Glide and Road Glide. More lights in back is always better. I would probably add a couple of the Custom Dynamics bag lights on the rear. The front has more lighting than just the headlight. Again, I might add driving lights to better light up the front. But, my 21 SG will do me for what I need or want. Nothing on the new bikes that would excite me. Especially the prices.
