I literally can not find any information on the jacket anywhere. Ive placed on here hoping someone can help me figure out what this jacket with a prototype tag could be. Im stumped

If there is no further information to be found the prototype probably was not put into production and scrapped.

actually there are many jackets of the exact same design still made to this day and going as far back as 1972. The design has not changed.

I think we're just not clear as to what info you're asking for. I don't think anyone can confirm or rule out exactly what jacket it is a prototype for. But - what if it is? What if it isn't?
